Free Grammatical Proofing

Yes I said free. Consider it a gift. Maybe it's because I'm a writer. I have this habit of scrutinizing every website I visit and usually label it good or bad in all of about 5 seconds. Normally, I categorize sites "good" based on a combination of content, user-friendliness, utilty and layout. One is not much without the others.
Every time I visit a site and stumble my way through glaring typos, I wonder if the owners have proofread their site. I also wonder what these "errors" tell me about the company, like whether they're forgivable flukes or flagship indicators of other sloppy practices. The final question I ask myself is whether this is the sort of company I want to do business with.
Now we all might agree that no one is perfect and the same should go for websites. Sometimes highly valuable content is being "pumped in" so fast that an error in spelling is par for the course. I'm not talking about sites that rack up a typo or two every month. Few are exempt from this. I'm talking about the general consistently of grammatical correctness that characterizes successful websites, but don't mistake "grammatical correctness" with "grammatical formality". There are a hundred ways to say the same thing but there are also many ways to say things wrong and not everyone's talent is writing. You see, your readers don't care if you're a talented writer or not but they do insist that you pass their standard whatever it is. And if you don't, they're out of there, with just one click and statistics bear out they won't return.
Occasional typos slip in to the best websites, this one not excluded, but severe errors paired with subpar verbiage can plant serious doubt in the visitor's mind as to the company's level of professionalism, awareness, credibility and care. Our job is to keep you off the hook here. First, we meticulously proofread your website. Then, a second set of eyes combs it again. We then bring the "bugs" to your attention via an e-mail report with a few suggestions on how to get them fixed. Our goal is to keep your site perfectly groomed in your visitor's eyes, because you only get one chance to make a first impression.
So remember this little motto: "Everything counts." You can boast the best products, have excellent services or even the best services in the world, but if your website reflects inattention to detail and/or grammatical ineptitude, it can mock your quality pronouncements, negate your visitors' perception of that quality, rattle the confidence of both existing and potential customers, drive away your market and pull the plug on profit. (Well, somebody needed to tell you.) Our free service is our way of giving back to the online community. So as not to inundate us completely, we ask that you limit your request to under 1,000 words, give or take a few.
We also love to create traffic-catchy mottos, unique by-lines, perform section editing and can write or rewrite your entire website based on your targets and preferences, and you get to bask in the credit. I am a published author with publications in several countries including America, have a specialized English major and over 30 years of writing experience. We'd love to make your site more effective by ridding it of grammatical "bugs". Contact us for a free consultation and remember the basic 1000 word website proof is entirely free.
Domain Name Crafting
Fortune favors the wise domain of the entrepreneurial soul. We can "custom create" a domain name for your website, sail by the competition with our sharp intuition and work up a healthy batch of possible domain names for you to choose from, for a very nominal fee. We also have a working list of potential domain name possibilities which at the time of creation had not been registered and we suspect that many of them are still available in the .com extension. The list is available for a fee. Contact us for a free consultation and pricing quote.
